Local Beer Day is a celebration of local beer from local brewers at the best local venues taking place across Australia on February 24.
Conceived by the team at The Crafty Pint, it’s a chance to raise a glass to the legends in the local beer scene who’ve been doing it tough in recent years. Check it out at localbeerday.com.
There are events ranging from laneway parties and community festivals to beer launches, masterclasses, a giant sack race and even a spot of wrestling.
Local Beer Day is inspired in part by the Keeping Local Alive campaign that launched at the start of the COVID pandemic. The t-shirts we produced for Keeping Local Alive proved so popular, we’re making new ones for Local Beer Day.
They’re available to order until Friday February 2nd to make sure they’re in your hands before February 24.
